2000 IGL Retriever Championship

Headkeeper and Steward of the Beat, David Yule had to
make last minute changes to the land to be used for the
Retriever Championship, heavy rain over the previous
weeks and days had meant that much of the land was
under water or it was in very wet conditions.
The Estate had also taken off miles of barb wire on the
fences to make it safe for the dogs.  However 38 dogs
and handlers competed under the watchful eyes of
judges, Frank Clitheroe, Roddy Forbes, Geaorge Ridley
and Billy Stell (Snr)
